pg 4 GWL

The next day, after we swam all morning the kids played a game called "Magi Quest." They had been looking forwards all night and morning to play it and were VERY excited about it...

The boys team and the girls team each had a wand. Basically it is a game in which you use your wand to find things around the lodge and the computer tells you what things you have to find to finish the quest that you are on...there are several quests to complete and then you can go on "adventures." At the end of the game you have to "fight" and defeat a dragon with your wand.... We were running up and down stairs, going down hallways...etc. Needless to say, the kids thought it was the most AWESOME game ever! ha

Here are the boys starting one of their "quests."

The girls are using their wand to open the trunk...

Grandma B. getting in on the action.

Before we left we got a cold treat...YUM

Good-bye GWL!!!!

pg 3 GWL

That is Kaycie under water...she had become quite the swimmer over the summer and was proud to show off her new skills to Grandma B!

The blue slide was the girls FAVORITE thing....they would race each other sliding down it and run back up the stairs to do it again and again...I never did catch them actually ON the slide though, all my pictures ended up just showing an empty slide. ha With the delayed picture I could never get it timed right to actually catch them going down it. Oh well....

Grandpa B and the girls getting ready to have a huge bucket of water pour on their heads.....

There it goes!!!

The girls got right into bed after changing into their jammies...they were obviously very tired from all the excitement and all the swimming! ha

The boys on the other hand....... ;0)

Having a splashing good time! Unfortunately none of the pictures of the
big boys turned out good enough to post.

Fun at the Great Wolf Lodge

We were recently invited to go to the Great Wolf Lodge with Grandma and Grandpa B. and Tristan for a fun weekend with all their grandkids together. The kids were ecstatic of course and had an absolute BLAST while they were there....Thank you Grandma and Grandpa B!
Howling at the GWL!

It's been a LONG time!

Hey guys,
I know that it has been FOREVER since I've posted anything...I'm sorry about that. I still have hundreds of pics from our WDW vacation to post plus the kids first day of school...etc. YIKES!
I shall do my best to get up to date now that the kids are gone in the mornings (except for Kaycie). She demands a lot of my time but I manage to get some time for myself to get stuff done so slowly but surely I will get those pics posted. I did start a myspace page due to peer pressure! ha So if you want to check it out the address is myspace.com/melbacheez . I seem to be able to keep more up to date on it since it seems to upload pics so much faster. Maybe I'll post all my Disney World pics on it instead of in the blog since it is faster.... I'll let you know if I end up doing it that way.....meanwhile thanks for being patient with me! I promise I'll get with it! ha

Ronnie is evidently enjoying the Safari. ha

Animal Kingdom page 2

After experiencing Dino Rama we headed off to the big new ride at Animal Kingdom, Expedition Everest! Here is a couple of the views walking up to it. Much to my surprise, Kylie rode this ride....her very first roller coaster ever!

She kept saying she wasn't going to ride it but then when we got there her cousin Wesley, who she adores, convinced her to ride it with him. I was shocked! I waited with Kaycie since she was too short to ride it and got to ride it later. It is an AWESOME ride. When Kylie came back after riding it, she was just beaming and grinning from ear to ear, it was so cute! I don't think that she rode it again though. ha

We got to meet the gang from the 100 Acre Woods.

Animal Kingdom

We started out in Dino Land at Animal Kingdom. The boys headed off to ride the thrill ride "Dinosaur" while the girls headed to the ride "Triceratops Twirl."

On the Triceratops Twirl ride.

The boys thought this ride was pretty cool! I didn't get a picture of the actual ride. Oops.

The boys in front of the Dinosaur ride.
This was one of the coolest rides in Animal Kingdom!

Bradon and Dylan each bought a dinosaur to remember this ride by.
